1. Super Attracter by Gabrielle Bernstein
Gabby Bernstein is a New York Times Best Selling Author and an overall badass super manifest-or. This book helps teach you to release control and the anxiety that comes with it. The more you try to control what’s happening to you and around you, the more you are resisting positive changes from coming into your life. Super Attracter helps you to trust yourself, release fear based thoughts and reminds you that the Universe, God or whoever that is for you, has your back.
2. The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein
Similar to her book Super Attractor, this book is spiritual based and acts as a reminder that you are able to co-create the life that you want to live. In it, Gabby explains practical steps that will help you work towards manifesting your wildest dreams. You can’t help but feel inspired and more positive after reading this book. After all, according to Gabby, what you put out in the Universe is what reflects back to you.
3. Atomic Habits by James Clear
Just check out the over 30,000 5-star ratings on Amazon for this book and you won’t question whether or not it’s worth reading. Atomic Habits is a #1 New York Times Bestseller. It teaches you that you’re able to make new habits for yourself regardless of how crazy and overwhelming life can be at times. James Clear helps you get motivated, but is realistic and also shows you ways to get back on track when you fall off with said motivation (relatable). Bad habits will keep repeating themselves until you have the right system in place. This book helps you implement a system.
4. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson
Contrary to several of the books above, this book doesn’t believe that positive thinking is everything and it’s definitely not spiritually based. Instead, Mark Manson strongly encourages people to face their fears head-on, accept the painful truths and then focus on what’s important. I’ll be honest, the title of this book really turned me off…as I’m sure it does a lot of people, but I’m really happy I read it. I don’t love the cursing throughout and some of the humor isn’t for me, but that’s kind of the point- this book cuts through the “crap” and gives zero-effs whilst doing so. No frills or skirting around the edges. Just like anything, I think it’s important to get out of your comfort zone and this book does just that. If you only read books that align with your thoughts and beliefs, I believe you’re limiting your self-growth and potential.
5. You are a Badass by Jen Sincero
I’ve read almost all of Jen Sincero’s books now and this one is definitely my favorite and the one I recommend to everyone. You are a Badass is a how-to guide that helps you identify your sabotaging beliefs; the beliefs that are ultimately holding you back from creating the life you want to live. This books help you learn how to change those limiting beliefs and how to use “The Force” to get to where you want to be. If you like Gabby Bernstein’s books, this one is right in the same wheelhouse.
